Inside every human being there are treasures to unlock.

I lost my grandmother last year and it was one of the hardest things in my life. I was extremely close to her and it was a huge loss to me. I had put a picture up of her in my scraproom with just a vinyl frame… it really didnt do her justice.

Yesterday I saw someone post a picture of a page they did for their mom… it was perfect for my grandmothers picture. I decided to scraplift the idea, and create a page just for her.
I used the cricut carts Storybook and George for this, along with our old Great escapes paper pack, which was one of my very favorites. I also wanted a clock of some kind in my layout, but couldnt seem to find what I was looking for. Then I remembered there was a clock in the digital freebies on the project center on my site… hmmmm
I went into Storybook Creator, and brought in that clock. Added a background and it worked. Printed it off my printer and it was perfect. Added a flower cut with the daisy from george, with the french vanilla and some of the Great escapes paper. Added my own title since I can make that with Storybook creator. The music notes behind the song “you are my sunshine” is also a digital freebie. This is how digital can be incorporated into traditional scrapbooking… Now I can say I did justice to my grandmother. I can look over my left shoulder and look at her when Im in my croproom anytime I want. 🙂 🙂
