My sentiments

Some one just emailed me and asked me to explain how I do my digital sentiments, so here goes. I pick the font, and even use a couple if wanted. I can add a element as well. Freedom to do what i want.
I will then group them, add a few to the page and group them again. I print them out in both black and brown, or if you need another color that can be done as well. I print out these sheets and keep them closeby when Im making my cards. All I have to do is cut them out. Here is what they look like from Storybook Plus, just as Im ready to print.

More pages done this weekend

and I almost forgot to post these. I had my National Scrapbook Day on Saturday, so I worked on these.
All homecoming pages. I love this paper and Im sad to say Im almost out of it. It is retired but it was a favorite of mine.

and the second

CARD DAY

And I actually had time to work on them. Been a hard week with my doctor adjusting my meds.. It calls for an hour nap everyday, says hubby. I dont want to admit to him he is correct either. LOL
Any…..way…
Here is the first card. I am still in the process of using up retired CM paper, but it works fantastic for my cards. The first one I used the George Cartridge and Create a Critter.. this is going to be a favorite for me I can already tell.

On to my second card today. I really love this owl. It works wonderfully for both scrapbooking and cardmaking. George and Create a critter used for this as well. I also made myself a digital stamp in Storybook plus, so I can keep it and use it over and over and over.. the best part.. no storage needed. yay! I love making my own sentiments… and I can adjust their size any time I want to.

Thinking of you

QUIT YOUR SQUEEKING !!!

Im up to sophmore year on the second nieces album

This is actually going better than expected. I was sitting at dinner and thought about the next page I wanted to do. I think it turned out pretty well. It is much harder doing and 8×8 album instead of a 12×12. I used both the locker talk and my community cricut cartridges. The paper is one of my favorites but no longer available… confetti.

Last one for the night and last talent show layout

I wanted to do another layout for the talent show, since it was the only year she did it. I saw the “now showing” on a layout a long time ago and kept a picture of it. I designed it on my gypsy and was impressed how well it came out. All paper of course is Creative Memories, some current and some retired.

Been busy today

I had to continue with my nieces album. I made two pages for her turnabout dance. The paper is CM Gazebo Power Palette. I also added the CM paper flowers and ribbons for a fancier affect.

Next was her talent show. I sat here thinking… what in the world can I do on this page… then I thought of a stage with curtains. I got my gypsy out and of course using the George cartridge, created the curtains. The masks are from the Locker talk cartridge. All the paper is retired CM paper. I recut the stage again using the backing cardboard from my CM paper, to make it stand out from the page a bit.

Talent show

Im still at it.

]I went to Madision Wisconsin this past weekend for a consultant crop. I actually got niece #1’s album completely finished, and started on the next one. It felt very good to get that much done in an entire weekend. Love those get-away weekends. I spent most of the weekend in my slippers and sweats and worked my tail off.
My son graduated from high school next year, and he commented that I probably wont have his books done for his grad party in 2011. (my daughters books were all out for display at hers) I have a confession… while Im so busy creating all these books for others, I havent even started his baby books. I have however, completed his karate book and am half way through his scout books. I think I better make them a prioity after Im through with these albums. Here are two pages from niece #2’s album. I used pieces from the CM Pastel Power palette. It goes together so well and makes my work easy. 🙂 I also spent some much needed time in my crop room re-organizing some stuff. It looked like a tornado hit it. I feel much better that I completed all this today… hope you have a wonderful one as well.
