Welcome Fall! Here in the Chicago area, the past week has been very hot. Im so ready to open the windows vs the air conditioning.
This month’s special is near and dear to my heart. The smile campaign is for kids who have cleft palates and lips for kids around the world. I know a child personally that was born with this. Today she has been operated on and is doing great, thank God. Lets all help out these kids, and get a great stamp set at the same time.
Then there is this months Stamp of the Month. Im in love. Its time to start those Christmas cards or layouts and these will get you started. I LOVE snowglobes. I will be listing some examples of both very soon.
I would also like to share some information regarding Cricut. They have decided to go completely digital now (I figured it was coming) so Close To My Heart announced that once our inventory of the new cartridge “You are Here” are depleted, they will not be making more of these. Not sure if they will continue with the digital version, but I feel it will be. If you want the physical copy, better order it sooner than later. Not sure how fast these will run out.
Have a great Sunday and Ill be posting again soon with some things to share.

Im a scrapbooker at heart so every time I get a new stamp set I have to try to use it in a layout. I used some retired paper here. The stamp of the month is this so I immediately said Thanksgiving.
So I stamped the leaves , border strip and the words on white paper. Fussy cut them out and arranged them. Used some pop ups to pop up a few of the leaves. Filled them in with a tiny brushing using the inks and a water pen. Ink colors were Fern, Cashmere, and New England Ivy. Then i decided to make them into a title. Long white strips were the base. For the leaves i stamped half the leave in cashmere and half in Fern. The other two embellishments were stamped in both Cashmere and New England Ivy. Do you have a bunch of stamps you never thought of using for scrapbooking? Embellish Embellish Embellish!
