We were to use pink, orange, brown and green in a card. The rest was up to us… Accent essentials, don juan and george were the cartridges used in this card.

Im almost done with her junior year… yay!!
I did this for a challenge and to motivate me. I used the Creative Memories black and white power palette..(one of my favs) and added some light blue paper. I know her dress was a pretty shade of blue..
I showed you how to make wordart.. earlier I showed you how to make your own clip art or embellishes.. but what if we put them together????
Best of all, you can save it, print it out on your printer to use in your traditional scrapbooking or cards, or use it digitally.. how neat is that?
I have a ton of fonts that I have downloaded, which means I can use any of these on the Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus. I started thinking about word art.. I love wordart on my page as both digital and traditional. So what would stop me from making my own word art? Hmmmm this could be very interesting.
I started by choosing what kind of title or statement I wanted.. easy peasy. Fathers day. I added the word happy, and picked my font. Then I added another text box for Father’s. Played around with different fonts until I liked what i had. I did the same for Day… Love that you can mix them up too.
Next I decided what color I wanted. Since i havent grouped them yet, I can make them any color I choose. I want to do the first and third in one color, and the middle in yet another. With SB+ it is each to change the colors too.
Ok. now I want to group them together… this way I can make this wordart any size I choose..
Here are a few more that I fooled around with.. the creativity is endless on this.. “On the :thinking of you” I made both of the first letters in their own text box as well, so you can make those larger then the rest of the statement.
I got two of them done before I left for my chiro appt.
The first one I saw the sketch and thought of this right away. I also added the ad challenge, which gives you certain colors you are to use. This week the colors were, yellow, lime, tangerine and red. The paper I used was from a retired Creative memories pack that I love.. i only have a few sheets left. 😦 I used the following cartridges for the items… crib-paper dolls for everyday; bunny- new arrival, teddy bear-doodlecharms; lion – paperdolls for everyday, and the half circle is from gypsy wanderings.
The second card I did I wanted to make for a male. I need a couple of those for this weekend. The flourishes and the small cuts were all created from the serenade Cricut Cartridge. The sentiment “happy birthday” is from the create a critter cartridge. I love this cut because I found that it cuts very cleanly even when you go pretty tiny. the paper is all Creative memories paper.
I love using the precision point pen on all my small cuts. It makes getting them attached extremely easy. If you have never tried it, do so…. it works great and is one of my very favorite CM products
Ill probably do a few more later today. Lunchtime comes first. LOL…
and couldnt wait til I could come into my room and create it. I know, strange… I dont know where it came from. Again, for my nieces album. This is for prom 2010. She wore a blue dress so it will stand out against the paper. The dress came from the cricut cartridge, disney princesses, dreams come true. The title is from Ashlyns alphabet, the heart was created on my gypsy with the hearts from the sweethearts cartridge. The flowers from home decor multiplied a few times, crumbled and then layered. Im glad Im done.. time to make dinner.
I decided to jump into another challenge today.. The challeng was to make a fathers day card. Being the kid Iam, I decided to make a funny card.
The inside says… a different family. There are eight children (4boys, 4girls) in our family… so there is no such thing as a quiet relaxing day.
